This mix contains a mixture of left over agates, jaspers and various others that remained after making up our 100 gram packs. The selection in each pack is completely random as they are simply scooped out of the left over the bin and packed.
As this Raw Rough Rock Chips and Bits mix has been made up of random rock we can’t state a hardness rating on the MOHS scale.
This mix is really too small to use for tumbling, although it could be used as a “filler” in a rock tumble barrel and is offered in 250 gram (+/- 5%) packs.
This Raw Rough Rock Chips and Bits mix might be useful for placing on wire crystal trees, or put into glass vials or for decorative uses.
