Lake Superior Agate
The slabs come from the northern shores of Lake Superior, to be more specific they are from the Armstrong Road mine in the Thunder Bay area of Ontario. They were cut by the man who mined them as we don't have s aw big enough to cut rough this large.
All of these slabs are suitable for cutting on a small 4 inch trim saw, they have a good surface area so should provide many cabochons if cut carefully. They could also be used as display pieces and could be polished if you have access to a vibrating lap.
