For many years now we have always offered our rough for tumbling pack weights in 100 gram packs. We found this allowed our customers to mix and match rocks to create varied barrel loads for their rock tumblers.

I have now decided to expand the rough for tumbling pack weights to include 250 gram and 500 gram, the 100 gram packs will continue to be available as well.

There are a few reasons for these new rough for tumbling pack weights

The rocks we are receiving from our suppliers now consist of a mixture of smaller pieces and larger pieces, many over 100 grams in weight. So the smaller pieces can be used to make up the 100 gram packs.
I tried many methods of trying to break down the larger pieces, some more successful than others, but they all ended up creating a lot of waste that really had no use. So I decided to use these larger pieces for the 250 and 500 grams packs.

So far these new rough for tumbling pack weights have proved more popular than I could have imagined! But the nice thing is you will never have to buy more than you actually want or need from the Rough Rock Shop.
